How it works

Define your rotation with precision. We support three primary methods to ensure your calendar reflects your actual work life.

Schedule setup

Repeating pattern

Pick one of about 60 named rotations (14/14, 7/7, Pitman, DuPont, 24/48, Monday–Friday) or build your own with an on/off block, a weekly grid, or by tapping out any cycle. Set the first day of the cycle and the calendar counts forward and backward from it.

Posted schedule

For nurses, EMS and retail whose schedule comes out every 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks with different days each time. Paint the shifts onto the calendar with a Day or Night brush as each schedule is posted, set the posted-through date, and days after it show as not scheduled yet.

One-off changes

On any pattern, paint over a single day (moved to nights this week, picked up a shift, cancelled) without touching the pattern. Reset puts it back.

Shift types

Day, night and evening shifts, each with its own color on the calendar, plus up to five custom shift types of your own (for example a 24-hour tour).

Day

Standard daytime hours.

Night

Overnight hours. A night shift is credited to the date it starts.

Evening

Second-shift hours between day and night.

Pay and PTO

The ledger counts every shift you mark, applies the PTO, overtime, night, evening and travel rules you entered, and shows an estimated figure before payday.
